Jacks Leading Lady Is...
As soon as she walked in the door, Jack knew today was the day he would finally tell her how he felt about her. They had been friends (well … yeah, friends) for almost 2 years and lately Jack couldn’t get her out of his mind.
“Hey, Jack. What are you doing in my office?” Liz asked him.
“Lemon I need to tell you something but I’m not sure how you will take it, Although I would rather talk about it in my office.” Jack said to her.
“ Um alright lets go…”
When they got to his office Jack was so nervous/ excited/ losing his mind that he forgot to close the door.
“Liz I’ve been thinking about this a lot. We are really good friends now, and I think maybe we should go to the next level of our friendship,” He said.
“Jack, are you asking me out? Like on a date?” She asked in shock with a slightly mocking tone.
“Yes, that is what I am doing.” He replied.
They heard loud crying outside of the office.
“Mr. Donaghy how could you? I mean its LIZ!!!!” Jonathon wailed.
“Ignore him,” jack said.
“I usually do” liz replied.
“So? Will you go out with me?”
“Yes, Jack, I will” she replied with a smile.
Jack smiled. “ Pick you up at 7?”
“sure”
She smiled then walked out of the room. “Suck it up nerd” she said to the still weaping Jonathon.
Jack smiled to himself while Jonathon still continued to cry. He then closed his office door. Jonathon Cried Louder.
Jack arrived to pick up Liz right on time. Liz was wearing some dark jeans, heeled boots,
and a purple top. Jack thought she looked beautiful.
“I wasn’t sure what to wear so I hope this is good,” Liz said.
“You look great” Jack said.
He took her to a fancy restaurant.
“wow Jack, this is awesome” liz said.

Sunset
Liz walked into her office and as surprised to find jack in there
"jack what are you doing in here?"
"Elisa left me...." he said
liz though he was almost in tears
"she said she thought i was too much of a distraction"
"oh jack im so sorry"
"I think i really loved her"
"You will be okay, youre jack donaghy you know you will find someone else"
"i supose youre right but i cant stop thinking about her"
"well find something to distract you"
"its hard, especially today. tonight is the GE exectutive dinner and she was going to be my date"
"of corse it will be hard but you just need to suck it up"
"will you go with me?"
"what?"
"will you come to the executive dinner with me?"
"oh jack i dont know"
"please liz it would really help me out"
"alright what time is it at?"
"7 but I will pick you up at 5 30"
"why so early?"
"i want to show you something before we go to the dinner"
liz stared at him for a minute
"okay see you at 5 30"
"see you at 5 30, and thank you"
Liz left work at 4 and went home to get ready.
right at 5 30 jack showed up
"lemon you look wonderful"
"thank you jack"
"so are you ready"
"yup"
"ok lets go"
"okay, where exactly are we goin jack?"
"you will see"
they went downstairs and got in his limo
about half an hour later the limo stopped
jack opened the sunroof of the limo and crawled out it and sat on top of the limo
"come on lemon"
liz followed him nervously
"jack whats this about?"
he was aboiut to answer when she noticed the sunset
"wow"
"i thought you would like it"
"how often do you come here?"
"almost every night"
"lucky..."
"you could come with me sometimes if you want"
"id love to, how long can we stay"
"about half an hour"
"Yay"
she leaned her head onto jacks shoulder and he almost said something about it but realized how stressful her day had been and decided to let it go.
half an hour went by quickly and they had to go. they got back into the limo and the driver started driving.
"jack, how long is the dinner going to be?"
"a few hours but it wont be that bad"
"oh i didnt think it would be bad i was just wondering"
"oh okay"
when they arrived at the dinner alot of people were there already
"wow lots of people"
"yes, its actually quite normal for this many people though lemon"
"well how would i know that"
jack chuckled
they found their table and ordered their meals
don geiss spoted them and walked over to their table
"jackie boy how are you, Liz good to see you"
"you too mr geiss"
"good to see you sir"
"well ive got to go make my rounds i will catch up with you two later"
once they finished eating they started watching the people dancing
"oooh I love this song!!!!!!!"
"would you like to dance"
"sure jack"
they got up and went to the dance floor
they had a great time dancing
when the song ended geiss motioned for them to go talk to him so they went
"having fun you two?"
"oh yea, jack is definitely a good dancer"
"ive had my practice"
liz and geiss laughed
"so how long have you two been together?"
"oh were not..."
"we arent..."
"well youre amazingly close. You should be"
they chuckled ackwardly
"well i should probably be getting Liz home because I am quite exhausted"
"it was good to see you again mr geiss"
"you too liz, see you soon jackie boy"
they left the dinner.
